We have adopted a new sweet girl for those of you who don't know..or maybe you do know and just assume that I am a horrible terrible adopted mother because I have not posted pictures of our new three year old black lab...Panda Paws. 

 I would have to agree with you, I am horrible....but we are so happy to have her (Monte included) he likes having someone to blame for his naughtiness although we all know better as she is very passive and calm (comparitively)



She at least tries to keep up with Monte.

I heart Faces: Anything But A Face!

I love walking with these two, they go about their business and refrain from staring at the crazy womangoing camera happy...plopping herself in the middle of the trail, rolling into awkward positions and squealing with delight when she finds something interesting to photograph...or maybe they are just pretending they don't know me?

January Freeze

Well it's freezing up here but I have to admit. I love it. Insane as that sounds....I LOVE SNOW and COLD and WINTER. There. Go ahead and judge me.

It's also peaceful....serene and beautiful.

And of course Monte knows where to be during the chilly nights

Falling

Well I finally did it, I got him to get in front of the camera. He is so handsome I don't understand why he won't let me take his picture unless he's doing something silly or making faces but I guess this is him. I'll take what I can get.

I'm still loving the fall weather aren't you? and here...I'll say it...don't hate me forever...but.. I CAN'T WAIT TIL IT SNOWS!!!!!!!! :) What is it they say? "You can't help the way you feel" I'm ready to bundle up and sit in front of the wood stove, but in the mean time I'll settle for hoodie weather and apple eating.

Autumning

Ok, I warned you...every season is indeed my favorite season...but autumn...has such a special place in my heart and will always trump all the other seasons. There is such COLOR and the coolness lets me indulge in all my favorite comforts...wood stoves, apple cider, fuzzy sweaters, blankies, beautiful views, pumpkins!...the list goes on and on. I fell in love with photography in the autumn.....ever since autumn of last year (has it really been such little time?) I have yet to put my camera down. It has become and extension of my being and allows me to create and feel and be me. I love that. I would also like to give a BIG thank you to all the encouragement I have been getting from family, friends and communities. I am a beginner and as I learn more and more I realize I still have loads to learn and funny thing is...I'm ok with that. There are SO many photography blogs I love to "stalk"/read/view/learn from. Oh and also I love my Montazilla can you tell?
